I love being a Registered Massage Therapist and have been practicing since 2000. I graduated from Centennial College in Toronto and have practiced massage therapy in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Australia, Ireland and Nova Scotia. I have worked in a variety of environments including spa, remote heli-skiing and fishing lodges, hotels, and rehabilitation clinics.
I moved to Middleton this summer after recently graduating with a Bachelor of Social Work, and am working as a social worker at Soldiers Memorial Hospital. I am not ready to give up my massage practice and I am looking forward to working one day a week at Valley Chiropractic.
My style of massage therapy is therapeutic and varied: basic swedish techniques, fascial release, trigger point therapy, stretching and range of motion of joints. My treatments are generally moderate to deep tissue. I believe it’s important to have open communication with my clients and we work together to ensure I am providing treatment within their own pain tolerances. I have worked extensively with pregnant women, people with mobility issues, seniors, children, athletes, end of life care, people with TMJ (intraoral massage), and rehabilitation.
I look forward to meeting you to help achieve your health goals.
