Dr. Katie C. Sloma, Chiropractor
My first chiropractic experience was disappointing.

Yes, it's true. The first chiropractor I saw lacked professionalism and was too busy to book follow-up appointments when I needed more sessions. But I knew there was something more to chiropractic out there - something from which everyone else seemed to benefit. So I listened to some friends and tried another chiropractor.

My second chiropractic experience was inspiring.

I saw real results without the use of drugs or surgery. I was educated about the innate ability of the body to heal itself when spinal issues are properly addressed. Apart from long term relief from stabbing low back pain and chronic headaches, I had better sleeping patterns, higher energy levels and a healthier immune system.

If my chiropractor could change lives with the power of a spinal adjustment, I wanted to follow the same rewarding path.

After graduating from the Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology program at McMaster University, I was accepted into the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. I have been practicing at Valley Chiropractic in Middleton since 2005. I have co-authored a research article that was published in a peer-reviewed chiropractic journal.

My goal has always been to provide high quality chiropractic care to people of all ages in order to keep the body's natural intelligence as a self-healing organism working at its optimum level. I have seen the positive benefits of chiropractic in patients as young as newborn babies to 97 years of age.
